Terms and Conditions

Prices:
1. All prices are quoted are subject to VAT at the current rate.
2. Prices include uniformed staff.
3. The company reserves the right to charge extra for staffing costs should any function run on longer than initially planned through no fault of the caterers.
Quotations:
• Quotations are valid for three months from the date of quotation and need to be confirmed in writing. We work on a ‘first come first serve’ basis for confirmation and we reserve the right to decline.
Payment;
1. A non refundable deposit of £1000.00 plus VAT is due on booking, followed by a 50% deposit two months before the event.
2. The remainder is required within 7 days of receipt of the invoice.
3. Cheques should be made payable to Jane Parker Catering.
4. We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments @ 2% above the current bank base rate.
Cancellation:
1. Cancellation within one month - loss of deposit. 2. Cancellation within 48 hours - up to 100% subject to costs incurred. Numbers 1. Final numbers 5 days prior to the event.
2. If the number of guests attending is less than the number booked, we will still charge for the total number ordered.
Equipment:
• Any equipment lost or damaged by the customer or guests will be charged at the full replacement cost.
Force Majeure:
• No liability is accepted for failure of performance due to strike, lock out, hostilities or any other circumstances outside the Company’s control
